Location
Argentière sits at the foot of the Grands Montets ski area, and this apartment is about as close as it gets, the lift is roughly 90 metres from the door, genuinely ski-in/ski-out. A ski school, ski hire shop and a handful of restaurants are all about a 6-minute walk, and the village itself, with its Alpine church and cafés, is a short walk away too. Chamonix town, with the Aiguille du Midi cable car, shops and museums, is about a 15-minute drive or 20 minutes by regular bus. For summer visits, the Petit Balcon Nord trail and a section of the Tour du Mont Blanc both start within a 10 to 15-minute walk, and the Accro Adventure Park and Lac des Gaillands, popular for climbing, are around 23 minutes by car. Annecy, the "Venice of the Alps," makes for a scenic day trip at around 1 hour 30 minutes' drive. Geneva Airport is roughly an hour and a half away by car, and regular buses connect Argentière to Chamonix and the wider valley.
