Location
The property is located in a wonderful spot in Tuscany, in the heart of the Maremma region. From here, you can reach the most beautiful destinations throughout the year thanks to the mild climate. There are picturesque cave settlements, medieval villages, and fortifications (Pitigliano 5 km, Sovana 11 km, and Sorano 13 km), centuries of history, and all the flavors of a generous land that produces high-quality oil and wine. We are in the south of the Tuscan Maremma, on the border with Tuscia in Lazio and Umbria, a stone's throw from Lake Bolsena (30 km), the thermal baths of Saturnia (27 km) and Sorano (13 km), and Orvieto (50 km). To spend wonderful days at the beach, visit the main towns of Monte Argentario: Porto Ercole (66 km), Porto S. Stefano (65 km), and Talamone (65 km). You can go on guided excursions (just ask the owner when you arrive), enjoy days of trekking and culture, among the Etruscan cave roads, impenetrable woods, and thermal waters. Between July and early September, you can join the owner on night walks through the vineyards. From March to October, you can observe butterflies on your own in a dedicated area within the property.
In Pitigliano (5 km), you will find shops, services, and excellent restaurants. The nearest airport is Leonardo da Vinci in Rome, about a 2-hour drive away.
