Cosy and well-furnished flat in a typical farmhouse in enchanting Tuscany, a stone's throw from Volterra, where nature dominates the landscape: we are in the Berignone Nature Reserve, of great naturalistic importance due to its excellent state of conservation, high naturalness and remarkable biodiversity. This evocative area is home to one of the most beloved places: the Masso delle Fanciulle, where it has always been possible to swim during the hot summer months. Ideal for trekking enthusiasts, it is a splendid environment in which to discover a quiet and unspoilt Tuscany, full of electrifying colours and breathtaking, unspoilt landscapes. A unique experience awaits you, suitable for adults and children alike, which you can also access on horseback or by mountain bike.
The flat is located on the first floor of the farmhouse with access via an independent external staircase leading to a delightful veranda from which you can enjoy a beautiful view. The front door opens onto a large living room with dining area and well-equipped kitchen with induction hob, extractor hood, dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, juicer and fridge with freezer. The flat offers 5 well-furnished and very comfortable bedrooms with private bathrooms, 4 bedrooms with double beds, 2 of which have an extra single bed and a sofa bed, and 1 twin bedroom, all with air conditioning and Wi-Fi. All the windows offer relaxing and enchanting views. The farmhouse is surrounded by a 1000 m² garden where you will find areas equipped for socialising. The barbecue can only be used under the supervision of the owners for the area in which you are staying.
Guests can enjoy a garden area equipped for pleasant outdoor dining, relax in the communal swimming pool, or read a book in the solarium area. Inside the farmhouse, on the ground floor, there is another room that the owners rent to their guests. The spacious lounge is very cosy and equipped for tasty breakfasts and dinners, which must be agreed in advance with the owners. The kitchen is also open to the public, but only upon reservation. One corner of the lounge has been furnished with a sofa and Smart TV for pleasant moments in company. The farmhouse has a shop selling local products typical of this area, such as saffron and olive oil, excellent cheeses and cured meats. To reach the farmhouse, you will have to drive 5 km along an unpaved country road, as it is located within a nature reserve. When you reach a barrier, you will need to ring the bell to gain access to the farmhouse. Once you have reached the farmhouse, you must park your car, as it is strictly forbidden to enter the park with a car. Anyone wishing to enter the park must park their car before the barrier.

Location.
Following the numerous hiking trails, you will find many places of historical and natural interest: starting from Fonte della Venella, descending towards the Botro a Rio stream, and then climbing up the other side, you can admire the remote Castello dei Vescovi and the 10th-century Castello di Luppiano, built in Etruscan-Roman style. Venturing into the Pomarance area, the bend in the Cecina river known as Masso delle Fanciulle is perfect for a refreshing swim. For a dive into history and culture, the nearby town of Volterra, also famous for its splendid alabaster, awaits you about 10 km away. To learn about the ancient guardians of these lands and also take advantage of a dip in the sea, visit the so-called Etruscan Coast with Sassetta (85 km), Suvereto (70 km) and Campiglia Marittima (80 km). Cecina (50 km) and the beautiful Gulf of Baratti (90 km) are perfect for spending wonderful days at the beach.
